When you visit a website and you click on "About us" or here's the "team" or meet the "owners" or "our people", like me, you probably want to see photos right? Now, what are the photos going to tell you? What they look like, right? Okay, that's all good, but what does that tell me about the person? We live in a time where we are posting selfies, videos, snapchatting (whatever that is) and instagramming. Wouldn't you rather see a headshot posed in a position that somehow showcases who they really are? I would. That's personal branding.
When I look at a picture I think, this person is funny, nice, warm or they mean business. How do you want to be depicted. I ask that when people come into my studio. How do you want to be photographed? Are you a smiling person, do you have a prop, do you want to look engaged or more down to earth. Photos tell stories. What's yours?
