I was hired to take a picture of some of the lawyers at my firm for an ad that would appear in the Moffly Media magazine in November. Moffly Media's publications include "Fairfield Living", "Westport Living", as well as other affluent towns in Fairfield county. However, the lawyers were in two different office locations and were not available on the dates of the shoot.
The challenge: to make it look like everyone was in the same room when the picture at the top right was taken. The solution: I took a picture of 6 of the 10 attorneys in that room as shown in the picture above. I then traveled to the other office location and took individual shots of the remaining 4 attorneys. When you do this, you have to be aware of the lighting and the angle in which they are standing. I had them stand in different angles so I had options when "Inserting" them into the original photo. It took a couple of hours to get it just right. It was a fun challenge and I like the result. Can you guess which 4 were inserted?

I recently had a shoot with a beautiful 40 year mom of two. She asked "What should I bring to the shoot?" This is the first question I get asked after booking the shoot. Because the photo shoot is all about YOU, I want you to bring that fancy dress you wore once and hung up in the back of your closet or that sparkling jewelry you wore for that wedding years ago. Bring your flowiest of skirts, revealing of shirts, I want you to feel your sexiest and most beautiful. In addition to the glam, I suggest bringing jeans, tank tops and an outfit that you might wear to a luncheon for a start. Then I fill in the rest of shoot with beautiful outfits from my studio wardrobe that you can choose from. My client was so happy to be able to showcase a few pieces of jewelry she only wore once and a fancy sexy dress she forgot she had hidden in the back of her closet. We had a lot of fun! So, I ask you...What's in your closet?
